Ochsenfurter Kauzen-Bräu, which has been under private ownership
since 1809, is among the most modern of the medium-sized breweries.
In 2008, Ochsenfurter Kauzen-Bräu was awarded Gold for the sixth
time in the prize ceremony in the “Prize for the Best” by the German
Agricultural Society (Deutsche Landwirtschafts-Gesellschaft – DLG)
for excellent quality.
Ochsenfurter Kauzen-Bräu has been a member of the German Brewing
Cooperation (Deutsche Brau-Kooperation) and the Free Brewers (Freie
Brauer) since 1.8.1972, as well as of the Mainfranken Beer Society.
The Brewery has been a founding member of the Bavarian Brewers
Federation (Bayerischer Brauerbund) since 1880.

The Hasseröder brewery
started in 1872 under the name “Zum Auerhahn,” in the district of
Hasserode in
Wernigerode. In 1882 Ernst Schreyer
assumed control of the brewery. In 1896 the brewery became an "Aktiengesellschaft"
or AG, and in the same year put out 25,000 hectoliters of beer.
Today, the brewery is now a “Gesellschaft mit beschränkter Haftung”
or GmbH owned by
Anheuser–Busch InBev. Hasseröder
ranks number 6 among
Germany's best selling breweries.

From the start, DAB beer was not
only drunk in Dortmund. In 1868, the city only had 36,000
inhabitants, hardly a large enough market for a major brewery. The
company's beer was soon distributed through the newly established
German Empire to cities as far afield as Königsberg and Cologne and
it was not long before it made its debut on the international scene.
In 1879, DAB beer was already exported to Holland, Belgium, France,
India, Japan and Australia.
Nowadays, DAB is still one of Germany's major export brands and is
represented in 20 countries throughout the world.

The
beer of choice in Essen. Made at the Privatbrauerei Jacob Stauder
since 1867, this popular Pilsener can be found at nearly every bar
and restaurant. In a city once famous for its industry, it was also
known for its many breweries. Today, Stauder is all that remains
and the locals are very loyal.

Good beer is a
question of character - especially at a time when many beers are
more similar. Therefore, the Private Brewery Moritz Fiege is on
autonomy and the special tastes of tradition in the Ruhr area and
ensures that keep our beers their unique character.
The selection of
our resources we devote special care, because we understand our
craft brewing as an art in which every detail of the highest quality
standards, is indispensable. Together with our brewmaster we care
about the purchasing of raw materials and adherence to strict
quality standards - according to the Moritz Fiege brewing recipe and
the German Purity Law of 1516.
Moritz Fiege
stands for family and security, responsibility and closeness, for
authenticity, but also for accountability and honesty.

Our classic Innviertler brewing with cold
fermentation and extended storage, and rigorous standards in
selecting exclusively domestic
Commodities give the Rieder UrEcht its unique character.

Our protest beer with the
fine-sounding name that Heineken did not fit and was a carnival
motif, has survived the seizure in the cool "warehouse" in
Oberzelgli in Engelberg and is a more than half-year legal
tug-raised angels as "(B) -Bräu ". Of these, there are still a few
bottles for collectors and connoisseurs. In agreement with the court
president and the Canton Obwalden, the police released relabeled
bottles and glasses in the word that caused a kick-off, weggeritzt.
Both (B) Engel-Bräu and the glass of the Glasi Hergiswil thereby
achieved cult status and high collector value. It will keep coming
back requests from abroad to collectors, the beer and glasses. Who
would like one of the few beers or glasses, a mail to the secretary
of the association Engelberger Klosterbräu

Thor Beer is brewed in the little private brewery "Thor
Bräu" which is located in the Upper Austrian town of
Ottensheim. Thor Bräu exists since 1999.
The beer is pleasant to drink and has a bitter aftertaste.

The name of the Paulaner brewery refers to the order
of friars that resided in Neuhauser Straße in
Munich who were part of the order
of Saint Francis of Paola. The monks had brewed beer for their own
use since 1634. The beer that was permitted to be sold on holidays
was a
Bock style which gained local fame.
After the abolition of the Neudeck Cloister in 1799, the building
was converted into a penitentiary. Franz Xaver Zacherl, the brewer,
purchased the former cloister brewery and continued the "Starkbier"
tradition with the product
Salvator, which is Latin for "Saviour".
In 1861 the "Salvatorkeller" (Salvator cellar) was opened upon
Nockherberg. In 1928 the brewery merged with the Gebrüder Thomas
brewery creating Paulaner Salvator Thomas Bräu. 1994 saw the
acquisition into the Kulmbacher brewery group with the affiliated
producers Plauen and Chemnitz. A daughter company is the Auer Bräu
AG Rosenheim. Paulaner belongs to the BHI (Brau Holding
International AG), a joint venture between Schörghuber Ventures
(50.1%) and with the Netherlands'
Heineken N.V. (49.9%).
